Detailed: 8- Day Uganda Experience Safari

Day 1Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Land at Entebbe International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel to rest after your long flight.

Day 2Morning Road Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Depart the hotel with your Jackal Adventures Africa guide. Drive through rolling hills, fertile farms, and tea estates toward Fort Portal, with views of the Rwenzori Mountains.

Check in at your lodge and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 3Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the Kibale headquarters for a briefing before entering the rainforest. Trek through the trees to observe habituated chimpanzee families as they feed and groom.

After lunch, take a guided walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to spot monkeys, colorful butterflies, and native birds.

Day 4Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive south toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most visited wildlife destination.

Day 5Lion Tracking & Safari boat

After breakfast, go for a morning game drive and have an experience with lion tracking.

In the afternoon, continue with an unforgettable afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This famous natural waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward while supporting one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos. Massive crocodiles bask along the shoreline while elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes gather to drink.

Day 6Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and lunch will be served en route before continuing to Bwindi. Arrive at your lodge located near the gorilla trekking sector and spend the evening relaxing in preparation for the trek.

Day 7Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Trek through the rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family and spend one unforgettable hour observing these incredible primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, embark on a Batwa cultural village experience.

Day 8Transfer to Kigali & Departure

After breakfast, depart Bwindi and cross into Rwanda before continuing to Kigali. Enjoy scenic views of Rwanda’s rolling hills with a lunch stop en route depending on your flight schedule before proceeding to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
