Detailed: 7-Day Uganda Wildlife and Primates Experience

Day 1Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Land at Entebbe International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel to rest after your long flight.

Day 2Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive south toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most visited wildlife destination.

Day 3Lion tracking & Kazinga Channel Cruise

Following breakfast and a morning game drive tracking lions, continue with an unforgettable afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.

This famous natural waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward while supporting one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos. Massive crocodiles bask along the shoreline while elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes gather to drink.

Day 4Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and lunch will be served en route before continuing to Bwindi. Arrive at your lodge located near the gorilla trekking sector and spend the evening relaxing in preparation for the trek.

Day 5Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Trek through the rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family and spend one unforgettable hour observing these incredible primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, embark on a Batwa cultural village experience.

Day 6Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

Depart for Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s compact wildlife gem known for its open savannah, acacia woodlands, and shimmering lakes.

Arrive for an exciting afternoon game drive or a horseback safari to spot zebras, impalas, elands, giraffes, and buffaloes
