This 12-day safari offers a comprehensive loop through Uganda’s northern and eastern landscapes, blending iconic wildlife encounters with deep cultural immersion. You will travel from the lush source of the Nile to the remote wilderness of Kidepo and the cultural heart of the Buganda kingdom.
Detailed 12- Day Uganda Safari Experience
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for a relaxed start.

Day 2: Entebbe to Jinja
After breakfast, you drive east towards Jinja. You will make a stop along the way to grab lunch before continuing to the Nile. Upon reaching Jinja, you will head out for an adrenaline-filled whitewater rafting session followed by a boat cruise to the Source of the Nile.

Day 3: Sipi Falls Drive
After breakfast, travel to Sipi Falls and head toward the foothills of Mount Elgon. You will enjoy lunch enroute in Mbale City. From there, the drive continues up into the cooler, mistier altitudes of Kapchorwa before arriving at your lodge.

Day 4: Sipi Falls Hike & Pian Upe Game Drive
In the morning, hike to the three tiers of Sipi Falls, trekking through lush coffee farms to reach the 100-meter drop. After lunch, you will drive to Pian Upe game reserve for a sunset game drive. The day ends with dinner at your lodge.

Day 5: Drive to Kidepo National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on the journey to Kidepo National Park with lunch en route. You will travel through the rugged Karamoja region, arriving at your lodge in the evening for dinner.

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive
The day is spent on a game drive in the Narus Valley to view the wildlife gathered around the permanent water sources. You will spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and massive herds of buffaloes. After the drive, you will head back to your lodge for your meals.

Day 7: Encounter with the Ik People
After breakfast, you will embark on the drive to Mount Morungole for a cultural encounter with the Ik people, one of the most isolated ethnic groups in Uganda. This involves a mountain hike to their villages for a profound look at their unique way of life.

Day 8: Drive to Murchison Falls
You depart after breakfast for Murchison Falls National Park in Northwestern Uganda, stopping for lunch en route. The drive transitions through the diverse landscapes of the northern region, reaching your lodge in the evening for dinner.

Day 9: Game Drive and Boat cruise
The day begins with an early morning game drive across the northern banks of the Nile to observe the park’s diverse wildlife. Following the drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch before setting off on an afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls.

Day 10: Ziwa Rhino Tracking & Drive to Kampala
You will depart Murchison Falls and stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola. Here, you will track southern white rhinos on foot with an expert ranger. Afterward, continue the journey to Kampala via the Luwero Triangle.

Day 11: Ewaffe Cultural Village & Kampala City Tour
Spend your morning at Ewaffe Cultural Village for a hands-on experience of Buganda heritage, including traditional cooking and storytelling. Return to the city for a tour of Kampala’s historical landmarks.

Day 12: Departure
